About Us
Homewise Property Inspections is a full service, INTERNACHI certified, Home Inspector in Lee's Summit and the greater Kansas City Metro area. We are a one stop shop inspection company offering whole house, termite and radon inspections. Homewise Property Inspections prides ourself on taking a thorough, yet non alarming approach to the inspection of your new home.
At the inspection
- Homewise Property Inspections will perform a comprehensive examination of all the systems in your new home. The inspection will usually last between 2 1/2 to 3 hours. We recommend you attend the inspection as education is one of the most important parts of an inspectors job and theres nothing better than getting helpful tips and information while you are at the home. When finished, the inspector will provide an overview of the findings and answer any questions you may have.
After the inspection
- A detailed, narrative report will be provided addressing the findings of the inspection. They will simply be broken down into major and minor items. Major items will concern health and safety issues and repairs that could potentially be costly. Don't be alarmed, the minor issues could be quite lengthy. Keep in mind there are very few homes around that don't have them. We are always available for questions prior to closing and/or after you've moved in.
